At Arendal Sound, we currently don’t offer dedicated in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. That said, custom-install solutions are something we are considering for the future.
Alternatives with Arendal Speakers
Even though we don’t currently make dedicated in-wall or in-ceiling products, several of our speakers are designed with wall-mounting flexibility in mind:
1528 Slim 8 – Features a shallow cabinet depth and comes with a VESA100 mount included, making it ideal for tight spaces or clean wall installations.
1723 Series and 1723 Series S (non-tower models) – All can be wall-mounted with the optional wall mount bracket. The 1723 Surround and Surround S are also shallow depth designs and include mounts in the box.
1961 Series (non-tower models) – All feature VESA100 mounting provisions, allowing for easy and secure wall mounting with standard brackets or our own VESA100 mount.
This makes it possible to enjoy the full Arendal sound, even when floor space is limited, while keeping installation simple and streamlined.
What to Look for in In-Wall/In-Ceiling Speakers
If you need to go with an in-wall or in-ceiling setup, it’s important to choose models that follow a similar sound design philosophy to ours. Look for speakers with:
Balanced sound for natural, lifelike playback
Excellent directivity control, meaning strong on- and off-axis response
In addition, having good room correction/EQ helps optimize performance and timbre-match with your system
These factors will help ensure a consistent listening experience across your entire system, even when mixing in different speaker types.
