Paper/Pulp
Lightweight and natural-sounding, often praised for its warm and smooth response. Modern treated paper can be stiff and durable, but it is more sensitive to humidity and aging than synthetics.Aluminum and Other Metals
Very rigid, which helps reduce distortion at higher volumes. Metal drivers can deliver precise, dynamic sound, but if not well controlled, they may introduce sharp resonances that require careful crossover design.Polypropylene and Composites
