What Is Drop Shipping?

You might have heard of the term dropshipped before and wondered "What is that?" Typically, dropshipping is when a retailer does not stock the product that they sell. When they receive an order from a customer, they forward it to the supplier. The supplier, in turn, ships the product directly to the customer. The retailer does not need to keep the product in stock or go through the typical distribution channels. 

How does this help you, the customer? Simply put - you usually don't need to wait for the product to be back in stock. At Arendal Sound, we know that waiting for speakers and subwoofers can be exhausting and a true test of patience.  Though we always try to have enough stock on hand, sometimes it's out of our control. To help you, the customer, we offer dropshipping to our US customers directly from our EU warehouse - this way, you don't need to wait for our stock to fill locally. 

There might be a time when you place an order for an item that is out of stock - we will always give you the option to wait for our shhipment of goodies or get the items drop shipped to you. Sometimes it will be faster to have them shipped from the EU warehouse; sometimes the wait will be the same and it's easier for us to ship from the US warehouse. Rest assured that we are always looking out for YOU and will do our best to products to your door as swiftly as possible.
