Items sold in the outlet section are very popular and tend to sell fast. But what condition can one expect when their shipment arrives? Spoiler alert: you can expect outlet items to be very similar to an unopened new item.
Where Do They Come From?
The majority of outlet items are customer returns, while some may be demo units. Once our team at the warehouse inspects and approves them, they are automatically listed in the outlet section.
You can generally expect your outlet item to be in like-new condition, with very light signs of use—if any. Often, these signs are barely noticeable, such as faint fingerprints or small hairline marks. In fact, many customers who purchase outlet items alongside brand-new products often can’t tell the difference.
“New and Unused” – What Does That Mean?
You may notice that some outlet items are marked as “new and unused.” These products have never been used and are only opened for a quality inspection—nothing more. They are not customer returns or demo units. The inspection is simply to ensure that everything looks perfect before shipping them out again. These items are essentially brand new, just not sealed at the factory.
Cosmetic Damage
In some cases, outlet items may have minor cosmetic blemishes. If this is the case, we always upload detailed photos of the marks on the product page so you know exactly what to expect before purchasing. These specific units are also typically offered at a larger discount.
Peace of Mind
Outlet items come with the same full warranty and 60-Day Audition period as our brand-new speakers. You also receive the same high level of customer support Arendal Sound is known for. We want you to feel completely confident when shopping from our outlet section.
In short, outlet items are a fantastic opportunity to own Arendal Sound products at a reduced price—without sacrificing performance, warranty, or peace of mind.
Important Note About the Upgrade Program
Outlet items are excluded from our Upgrade Program—this applies both to items you’re upgrading from and items you’re upgrading to. If you’re considering future upgrades through our program, we recommend purchasing new (non-outlet) items instead.
